Scantarp’s cover fabrics are designed to withstand heavy wear and varying weather conditions, making them exceptionally well-suited for outdoor use. The most commonly used cover material is flexible and well-draping ½ Panama fabric, which combined with a knitted base layer provides excellent tear strenght and durability.
Thanks to its stable structure, the fabric does not stretch, retains its shape well, and remains securely in place over time. To make handling even easier, the surface of the fabric can be finished during manufacturing with a lacquer coating, either with an acrylic or PVDF-based lacquer.
Our cover fabrics can be customized with patterns and colors printed according to the customer’s preferences. Available options include e.g. striped and camouflage-style designs.
A food-safe formulation is also available for our cover fabrics. This means the product can be used in applications involving contact with food, such as protective covers, storage solutions, conveyor belts, and containers.
